Day 2: In Amboseli National Park
Begin the day with a sunrise game drive. As the sun rises and the skies clear, you will have good views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Watch out for early-morning hunters like lions and leopards.
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning at your lodge. Later in the afternoon, go for another game drive to see elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, and more.
Visit the observation hill for a view of the park. Overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 3: From Amboseli to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. On arrival, visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and then enjoy a game drive. Ol Pejeta is known for protecting endangered animals, especially rhinos. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.
Day 4: From Ol Pejeta to Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast, drive to Samburu Game Reserve. This reserve is less crowded and has special animals not found in other parks. You may choose to relax at the lodge or take an afternoon game drive. Overnight at your safari camp or lodge.
Day 5: In Samburu Game Reserve
Spend the day exploring Samburu. Look for the “Samburu Special Five”: the long-necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich.
Also look out for lions, antelopes, leopards, hyenas, and other animals. The Ewaso Ng’iro River is a great place to watch wildlife. Overnight at your camp or lodge.
Day 6: From Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park
Leave Samburu and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch at your lodge, go for a game drive to see animals like rhinos, zebras, and flamingos around the lake. Return to your lodge or camp for the night.
Day 7: From Lake Nakuru to Lake Bogoria & Lake Naivasha
Leave early for a day trip to Lake Bogoria. It is known for its hot springs and large numbers of flamingos. After lunch, drive to Lake Naivasha and take a boat safari to see hippos and birds. Overnight at your lodge or camp in Naivasha.
Day 8: From Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve
Today, drive to the famous Masai Mara National Reserve. This park is next to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania and is part of the wildebeest migration route. After lunch, you can relax at the lodge or go for a short game drive. Overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 9: In Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend the day on game drives across the open plains. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, leopards, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, wildebeests, and gazelles. Later, you may visit a nearby Maasai village. Overnight at your camp or lodge.
Day 10: Depart Back to Nairobi
