Day 1: Amboseli National Park – Afternoon game drive
Your driver-guide will pick you from your hotel in Nairobi and drive you to Amboseli national park starting off your 7-day Kenya safari with Amboseli. You will have lunch upon arrival at your lodge in Amboseli or around the park after some down time, you will embark on your first game drive of your safari.
Day 2: Full day in Amboseli National Park
Large herds of elephants traverse the savannah grassland plains of Amboseli national park, other large mammals like buffalos, rhinos, zebras, wildebeests, waterbucks, giraffes and predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs also inhabit the park not forgetting over 400 different bird species. Spend the whole day out in the park for amazing wildlife sightings and rewarding game drives. Overnight back at your lodge / camp.
Day 3: To Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you start on your journey to Lake Nakuru national park, a long road trip that will take you about 7-8 hours. You will have 2 stopovers along the way: first stop is for lunch and the next stop will be at the view point of the Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy the views and take some pictures. You will be in Lake Nakuru national park in the late afternoon and you will embark on a game drive for some wildlife sightings and see the animals wind down their day. Continue the drive to your lodge for check in and a relaxing evening as you watch the sunset.
Day 4: Game drive in Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Maasai Mara.
Pre-sunrise game drive in Lake Nakuru national park to watch the park rise up with the sun with herbivores up and about grazing and browsing and the predators on their morning hunt. Drive to the beautiful Lake Nakuru to catch some aquatic life including hippos and lots of flamingos, pelicans and more. Return to your lodge for breakfast and after depart Lake Nakuru for Maasai Mara national reserve. You will be in the Mara in the late afternoon, check in at your lodge / camp and spend the rest of the day at leisure, have enough rest for you have 2 whole days to explore the amazing Maasai Mara national park.
Day 5-6: Maasai Maara National Reserve
For these 2 days, you will explore the most popular game viewing destination in Kenya. Maasai Mara national reserve famously known for the great wildebeest migration. Be sure to encounter the big 5 among other animals like zebras, giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, wildebeests, jackals and more. Drive to the famous Mara River for a chance to witness the action-packed river crossing of millions of wildebeests. And thousands of other ungulates during the annual wildebeest migration.

Day 7: End of Safari – Nairobi
