They are usually around the dry bed of the lake basin in the Amboseli national park. They usually hangout in the swampy areas during the afternoons as they try to cool down. The buffaloes move and graze in large numbers. Each group or family will have a dominant male. The Buffaloes are very calm animals but when they charge, they are one of the most dangerous wildlife species.
