Amboseli Airport Gate is one of the main entrances to Amboseli National Park in Kenya. It is located close to the official Amboseli Airstrip, which has a runway about 1,200 meters long.
Flights from Nairobi and Arusha land here, making it an easy way to reach the park.
When you fly into Amboseli Airport, you still need to follow all park entry rules. The flight from Nairobi to Amboseli takes about 30 to 40 minutes.
Near Amboseli Airport Gate, you will find shops where you can buy snacks and souvenirs. There are also clean flush toilets for visitors. If you need assistance, a ranger post is available where you can get help from park rangers.
